With a highly efficient query processing stack, Firebolt delivers millisecond response times at high concurrency. Its flexible infrastructure provides capabilities such as compute-storage separation, workload isolation, multi-dimensional elasticity, and granular scaling. In addition, Firebolt provides a layered security model and offers Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), allowing administrators to control access to database objects and compute resources.
Firebolt Engines, compute resources used to ingest and query data, support different node types for various workloads—S, M, L, and XL. Depending on their needs, customers can dynamically modify their engines to use a different node type, number of nodes, and number of clusters within a given engine.
